Mountain Fury

Asheville Composite Squadron will be conducting another Mountain Fury flight clinic for NCWG and other Wings Mission Pilot personnel.
This training will start at 1600L on Friday 8/5/16 when the AVL Flight Line will open for inbound aircraft. Training will begin 8/6/16 at 0800L with sign in from 0700 to 0800. Ground school and renewal flying will be conducted in the morning with Ground school repeated in the afternoon along with new mission pilot flight training. If necessary due to weather, flying may also take place on 8/7/16. Hotel information will be provide at a later date.
Flying on 8/6 is normally limited to 20 pilot plus their instructors. Priority will be given to those Mission Pilots who have expired or will expire in 2016.
The CAP Mountain Flying ES certification is good for 3 years from the date of course completion. If space is available, New MP’s and currently qualified MPs expiring in 2017 or 2018 may take advantage of MF 10.0 as initial training , currency/refresher training.
