SLS and CLC

-SLS and CLC will be held 26-27 Aug 2017 at NCWG headquarters (3520 Alamance Rd, Burlington, NC )
Squadron Leadership School is required to advance to Level II and provides CAP's adult members with a basic understanding of CAP operations at the squadron level and how those operations affect CAP's national missions.
The Corporate Learning Course is required to advance to Level III and discusses the relationship the CAP squadron has with the next major echelon of command -- the wing. Specifically, CLC discusses how wing-level operations help to accomplish CAP's three missions of aerospace education, emergency services, and cadet programs. It describes the working relationships wing staff officers have with each other, and their squadron level counterparts.
Schedule will be 0800-1600 on Saturday 26 Aug and 0800-1430 on Sunday 27 Aug.
Cost of the program will be $25 and will cover student guides, breakfast and lunch. Checks should be mailed to NCWG Headquarters, PO Box 2082, Burlington, NC 27216-2082 Attn: Kathy. Please put "27 Aug PD weekend " on the memo line.
Uniform will be Class B(Service Blues) or CAP Distinctive uniform, NO ABUs. Please verify uniform parts, badge locations, ribbon wear, etc with CAPM 39-1.
If you are interested in attending, please email chooper@ncwgcap.org. I will need course name, rank, CAPID and home squadron. Slots will be awarded on a first come first served basis. I currently have limited access to the internet. Confirmations will be sent out no later than August 1st. -
