NCWG Encampment Cadet Staff Selection School

The minimum requirement to staff this year's Encampment is to have attended an encampment previously and completed at least one achievement in the previous 90 days before ESS (in other words, completed at least one achievement between 20 Jan 2018 and 19 Apr 2018).
In order to facilitate the cadet staff selection for Encampment we will be having an Encampment Cadet Staff Selection School. Cadets will be interviewed by both the Encampment Executive Staff as well as Cadet Executive Staff and also be drilled in their knowledge of Encampment protocols. This exercise will also function as the Required Staff Training for Encampment so that we can maximize your training period and eliminate the need for multiple trips to Wing HQ over the next few months. It will also help you to develop the interpersonal bonds that each of you will need to endure the rigors of a staff assignment.
Cadets and Senior Members applying for staff positions are required to register for Encampment at https://goo.gl/forms/CyqGB516jYawUBdT2. Please be sure to select the three positions which you are willing to staff.
All personnel attending this event will be required to submit the following by 30 March:
- CAP Resume
- 2 CAPF 31s - ( 1 for this event and 1 for Encampment, both must have all required signatures)
- CAPF 160 Member Health History Form
- CAPF 161 Emergency Information
- CAPF 163 Permission for Over the Counter Medication (Cadets Only)

If you are not able to attend this weekend event contact ncwg.encampment@gmail.com ASAP with the reason why.
If your paperwork is incomplete and has to be returned you do not have a reserved spot, so please make every effort to have all forms complete before arriving. The cost for the event will be $20 to cover meals over the weekend. You will need to mail a check or money order for $20 to NC Wing for the ESSS or pay online at https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=LWTNPG9N86VTE . Payment is due by 1 April 2018.

Additional requirements for cadets seeking line staff positions (Flight Commander, Flight Sergeant, or First Sergeant):
- Submit a video of you doing the Achievement 5 drill test (if you are a C/SrA or below, you can do your next drill test instead). The video should be sent to ncwing.encampment@gmail.com by 30 March 2018.
