The Wings of Freedom Tour is coming to Raleigh NEXT WEEKEND (October 19-22) and CAP needs your help!
This event will display multiple WWII-era aircraft, including the B-17 Flying Fortress, B-24 Liberator, B-25 Mitchell, and a P-51D Mustang. The tour, put on by The Collings Foundation, displays these aircraft at over 100 airports around the country each year to honor the people who built, maintained, and flew them. (Click
here for an article on the NCDOT.gov website.)
CAP will have an aircraft and recruiting booth on display during the event, and we need YOUR help! If this event turns out similar to the Hurricane Awareness Day held earlier in the year... it's going to be PACKED!

- If you plan on attending for a full day (or days), please come prepared with a sack lunch. There has been no word yet on food provided for volunteers, and it's better to be safe than sorry!
