Cadets and Seniors of North Carolina Wing,

On April 4-6, 2014, North Carolina Wing will be conducting a Cadet Training Weekend and Training Leaders of Cadets near the Charlotte-Douglass International Airport at 5600 Airport Rd, Charlotte, NC 28208.

The purpose of this event is to provide cadets quality cadet program relevant training in subject areas related to their grade. This program will serve as great training and preparation for those attending the 2014 NCWG Encampment, whether that be on staff or as a basic, as well as those wishing to take the next step in their CAP career.

A Cadet Great Start/Airman School and NCO School will be conducted. An Officer School will be conducted if enough interest is shown.

In addition a Training Leaders of Cadets (TLC) is being offered. The TLC is the centerpiece of the Cadet Programs Officers’ specialty track and prepares seniors to lead cadets at the unit level. It is a requirement to obtain the senior rating in Cadet Programs also a requirement to teach or direct for the Master rating.
