Emergency Services skills taught in Greenville

6/2/2018––On 19-20 May 2018, the Pitt-Greenville Composite squadron held its’ first Emergency Services (ES) training weekend of the year. The NC-079 cadets have been learning about emergency services and focused to get qualified for Urban Direction Finding and as Ground Team members.

This training will allow them to participate in search and rescue operations state-wide when called upon.

This was a comprehensive training weekend. It covered a lot of ES material all day Saturday and most of the day on Sunday.

The squadron leadership thanked the cadets for taking the time to participate, the parents for coordinating the logistics to get them to the training, and senior members for their time and effort to put on such an outstanding training.
