The Unit Commander's Course (UCC) will be held 24-25 Aug 2019 at NCWG headquarters (3520 Alamance Rd, Burlington, NC). The deadline for registration will be 3 Aug 2019 to allow for the completion of the online pre-course.
The objective of the UCC is to build a cadre of well-trained officers who are prepared to lead and manage at the squadron level. Graduates will be able to weave the management responsibilities of command with the leadership skills necessary to build and encourage their team of dedicated members from all walks of life and of all ages to accomplish CAP's mission and squadron objectives. This is an essential course if you are interested in a command position.
Level II is a prerequisite for attendance of UCC.
Schedule for UCC will be 0730-1655 on Saturday 24 Aug and 0730-1420 on Sunday 25 Aug.
Cost of the program will be $25 and will cover student guides, breakfast and lunch.
Uniform will be Class B(Service Blues) or CAP Distinctive uniform, NO ABUs. Please verify uniform parts, badge locations, ribbon wear, etc with CAPM 39-1. If you do not yet have a Class B uniform, the polo shirt combination will be acceptable.
