North Carolina Wing is planning to have a Professional Development Weekend March 7-8, 2015.  During this weekend, we will be having a CLC, an SLS, an AEO school, and a TLC.

Courses available:
Squadron Leadership School (SLS) is designed to enhance a senior member’s performance at the squadron level and to increase understanding of the basic function of a squadron and how to improve squadron operations. Prerequisites for attendance are completion of Level I and enrollment in one or more specialty tracks.  This class director is TBD.

Corporate Learning Course (CLC) discusses the relationship the CAP squadron has with the next major echelon of command -- the wing.  Specifically, CLC discusses how wing-level operations help to accomplish CAP's three missions of aerospace education, emergency services, and cadet programs.  It describes the working relationships wing staff officers have with each other, and their squadron level counterparts. Prerequisites for this course is completion of SLS.
The Director of this course is Major Frank Parker.  

Training Leaders of Cadets (TLC) is the centerpiece of the Cadet Programs Officers’ specialty track and prepares seniors to lead cadets at the unit level.  This class director is TBD.

Instructors are needed for the CLC, SLS and TLC! Contact Lt Col Shelley Gonzales ( as soon as possible, if interested.

Registrants need to visit to register for the courses. Cost is $45 per person this will cover lunch for both days and supper on Saturday night.  Breakfast is on your own..
